JP Sports Noida have announced their squad for the upcoming Tillo Cup 2026, with former Indian Premier League fast bowler Kamran Khan set to headline the team. The 16-member squad combines experienced domestic players and promising young talent as the Noida-based outfit prepares for the eight-team tournament scheduled to take place from March 6 to March 15.
JP Sports participated in the 2025 edition of the competition but had a disappointing campaign, finishing last in their group after losing all three matches. Determined to bounce back, the franchise has strengthened its roster with several experienced additions ahead of this year’s tournament.
One of the notable inclusions in the squad is right-arm medium pacer Meraj Khan, who brings valuable overseas league experience after featuring in the Malaysia Cricket League. Meraj has also gained exposure at the highest level of franchise cricket, having served as a net bowler in the Indian Premier League.
Wicketkeeper-batter Vinay Upadhyay adds depth to the batting lineup. The Uttar Pradesh Under-23 player previously emerged as the marquee signing for Jagdishpur Yodha in the Amethi Premier League. Upadhyay has also been selected to represent Lucknow Nawabs in the inaugural edition of the Lucknow Premier League, further underlining his growing reputation in domestic cricket.
All-rounder Anurag Yadav, who currently represents Arunachal Pradesh cricket team in the Ranji Trophy, brings additional domestic experience to the squad. In his appearances for the state side, Yadav has scored 52 runs and taken three wickets. He also served as a net bowler for the Gujarat Titans during the 2025 IPL season.
Leading the experience chart is left-arm pacer Kamran Khan, who represented the Rajasthan Royals in the 2009 and 2010 seasons before playing for Pune Warriors India in 2011. Over the course of his professional career, Khan has claimed nine wickets in the Indian Premier League, along with 12 wickets in 11 T20 matches and five wickets in two first-class games. He has also played first-class cricket for Colts Cricket Club.
