Delhi capitals batting was as bad as their bowling. Losing 4 wickets in powerplay is never a good sign. But the Middle order batters Axar and Stubbs held the ground and started getting run quickly before getting out for 22 and 34 runs respectively. Then came the finishers in Asutosh and Nigam. You normally expect finishers to get maximum of 50-60 runs. This is where Lucknow missed an overseas bowler. Lucknow’s inecperienced bowling attack was clueless in how to bowl in the final overs. Moreover Pant missed a stumping opportunity that would’ve won them the game. Nigam and Asuthosh played a game of their lifetime to take Delhi across the finish line.
