In an inspiring tale of courage and curiosity, six-year-old Lakshmi—fondly known across social media as “Kutty Trekker”—has become one of the youngest Indians to complete the challenging Everest Base Camp (EBC) trek. Accompanied by her father Srish, the adventurous duo from Tamil Nadu has captured the hearts of thousands with their fearless spirit and wholesome travel content.
Their journey, documented through a popular YouTube channel and Instagram page under the name Kutty Trekker, showcases Lakshmi’s grit as she trekked across one of the world’s most iconic high-altitude trails. Braving rough terrain, cold winds, and high elevation, the young explorer showed determination far beyond her years.

What sets Lakshmi’s journey apart is not just her age, but the unique bond she shares with her father Srish. Together, they’ve explored hidden places across India, infused their treks with humor and cultural insight, and created short comedy clips that appeal to both adults and children alike.
Their feat has drawn widespread praise, including recognition from the DMK Youth Wing and Tamil Nadu’s Sports Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, along with SDAT Member Secretary, Thiru. J. Meghanatha Reddy I.A.S.
